milestone...

A little vocab lesson for you: 


milestone: a stone pillar that shows the distance in miles to or from a place, or to mark a significant event in life, history, etc


This past year, I was involved in a Joshua bible study at my church.  And one of the lesson we were talking about the milestones in the past year, which was me had only had two things: Molly being born and my new house.  It got me thinking of the last 15 years (since H.S. Graduation)  Gosh, has it been that long????


So here is the list of my milestones since graduation!

1. High School Graduated June 1997
2. Mission Trip to Guatemala June 1997
3. Oak Hills Christian College  September 1997 
4. MCTC September 1998
5. Internships (I am calling these jobs that) 1998-2000
6. Start working at PHS May 2000
7. Witness a miracle of my Dad's heart
8. Brad and Kelly's Wedding 
9. Darla and Brian's Wedding
10. First Apartment in Glen Lake Landing
11. Sharing my sister's joy of Max being born
12. Celebrating my ten years at PHS!
13. Move to Upland Indiana
14. 2nd and Last Apartment in Briarwood
15. Working at the DC for one year
16. Sharing my brother's joy of Clara being born
17. Buying my first home
18. Sharing my sister's joy of Molly being born
19. Witness a miracle of my Dad's heart for the second time and hopefully for the last time!

Have you wonder why is that some songs, just get to you??   Case in point, this song by MercyMe.  The first time that I heard it and it meant something to me was at my Grandmother's wake.  She really did love this song, and it was so perfect for her. 

I can only imagine standing, and walking with my Lord, along the side would be her, and Bapa!!  It does bring tears to my eyes!  I just cannot wait, but I know my Lord has a lot more plans for me here.
